You Tube on the Apple TV#

AppleTVToday Apple announced that it would incorporate Google's You tube video services on the Apple TV Set-top box.  More Interestingly they announced that they would be offering a version of the Apple TV with a 160 Gigabyte hard drive for $399 a $100 premium over the current product which has a 40 gigabyte hard drive.  This would increase the capacity of the device to four times the original allowing for up to 200 hours of video.   To round up the apple announcements, they revealed iTunes Plus.  The new download service will offer the anticipated digital rights management(drm)-free content from EMI which currently includes Cold Play, Joss Stone and The Rolling Stones.  Look for the You Tube update and service in mid June with a limited portion of the available content.  They reportedly will make the full catalog of You Tube's Content available in fall.
